Lake Minden Fall Float Fly

Twice a year, the Woodland/Davis Aeromodelers put on a Float Fly at Thousand Trails Lake Minden , near Nicolaus, CA. We reserve the north end of the lake and the northeast corner camping area.  This is a well-attended event with many RV’s camping for the entire weekend, but day users and visitors are welcome.  The aircraft are typically sport type airplanes but there are a few scale planes that show up.  Most of them are electric these days, but glow and gas are welcome.  This is a very relaxed and low-key event put on by Randy Sizemore.  Come out for the day or weekend and visit!
